The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) has appointed Rupa Das as Chair of the AHPA Board of Trustees until March 2019.
Das is the Vice President of Global Quality and Compliance at BI Nutraceuticals and a long-serving member of the AHPA Board of Trustees.
"AHPA appreciates Rupa's willingness to take on the roles and responsibilities of board chair," said AHPA President Michael McGuffin. "AHPA will benefit from Rupa's strong leadership skills and extensive experience in the herbal products industry."
Das replaces Graham Rigby who has served as board chair since March 2017. Kyle Garner succeeds Rigby as Organic India's representative on the AHPA Board of Trustees.
"AHPA thanks Graham for his service and leadership," added McGuffin. "We look forward to continuing to work with Graham in the future to further the shared goals of the herbal products industry."
