Melissa Do is the director of communications for the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA). In this role, Do manages engagement and communication with media and publicizes the crucial work being done by AHPA and its members to ensure the accessibility of safe herbal goods to informed consumers. Her work ensures that AHPA is recognized for its industry leadership and scientific and regulatory contributions and that AHPA communications meet the needs of the association’s stakeholders in today’s digital landscape. Do received her bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from San Diego State University. An experienced writer and hemp CBD industry alum, Do has a background in marketing, communications, and events in the software, commercial real estate, and CBD industries.
