Acclaimed NIH researcher Dr. Josephine P. Briggs to keynote AHPA Member Meeting

 AHPA's annual Member Meeting & Breakfast is a great way to reconnect with fellow AHPA members, meet new contacts, and learn about upcoming AHPA initiatives and pressing issues of importance to the herb and botanical trade.

Special keynote speech by Dr. Josephine Briggs

Josephine P. Briggs, M.D., an accomplished researcher and physician, is Director of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the leading Federal agency for research on complementary and integrative health practices.

Dr. Briggs’s research interests include the renin-angiotensin system, circadian regulation of blood pressure, and policy and ethical issues around clinical research. She has published more than 175 research articles, book chapters, and other scholarly publications.
